2024 RESULTS
ATTENTION: All runners/walkers doing The Valley To The Sea Half Marathon & 5k/10k. Due to a possible government shutdown Friday, we have been proactive and are making a change to the finish line location of the event. Currently we are trying to move it to the Maui Ocean Center. Both 5k/10k starts will also be starting and finishing at the Maui Ocean Center. Packet Pick-up will also be at the Maui Ocean Center from 2:30pm-5pm. Both 5k/10k now starts at 6am. Half still starts at 6:30am. Shuttle bus pick up is still at 5:30am at Maui Ocean Center.
It’s hard to believe it’s been 16 years of this fun and beautiful event. We have had so many people from all over the country and world come out and be a part of something fun and local. This year, 2025, will be another great event you don’t want to miss. We want to make this event the most memorable and exciting. Great new medals, great custom made shirts, swag and age division awards. These events don’t last forever, so come out and be a part of a fun and local event.

From the moment the gun goes off at the Iao Valley Needle, in Wailuku, you know you are in paradise, with beautiful green steep mountains on either side and the smell of fresh air coming through the valley and birds singing in the background. When the event starts, prepare yourself for ocean views, just feet away, and whales breaching from afar as you get closer and closer to the finish line. A sight to behold during whale season.
The Valley To the Sea Half Marathon 5K/10K has spectacular views through the most beautiful setting in the world. It’s an entire event filled with competition and fun starting with the Half Marathon, 10k and 5k and ending when you cross the finish line at Maui Ocean Center. All courses are beautiful with an ocean view to die for. If that doesn’t motivate you to be in this event nothing will.

Packet Pick-up-Friday the 14th @ 2:30pm-5pm @Maui Ocean Center in Maalaea(Get number, shirt, other goodies and info) THIS IS RECOMMENDED, TO CUT DOWN ON RACE DAY CHAOS AT BOTH START LINES. PLEASE PLAN ACCORDINGLY.
Shuttle to Half Marathon-Pick up at 5:30am @ Maui Ocean Center in Maalaea. No parking at Half Marathon Start line. Only drop off. If wanting to take the shuttle, you must email us your names.

Parking at Finish–PARKING AT FINISH LINE, NONE AT HALF MARATHON START. We do urge being dropped off by friends or family members, and or ride sharing. Parking at Maui Ocean Center is paid parking thru Parklinq. Residents of Maui are free, when scanning code at site. Do not park on gravel next to Starbucks.

YOU MUST PARK in the designated paid parking stalls. Parking is $3 per hour and can be paid via phone once you arrive at Maui Ocean Center.
